Truck driver

Job Overview As a Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across local and over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll use GPS navigation, follow assigned delivery plans, and handle cargo with care. We run all triaxles and dump trailers. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries and keep logistics operations moving. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks on route-driving and delivery-driving assignments, including OTR routes as needed. Load and unload freight; perform manual handling and logistics cargo handling while securing loads appropriately. Transport cargo that may include automobile transportation, dangerous goods, or hazardous materials, following applicable handling procedures. Complete vehicle inspections, maintain required trip and delivery records, and report equipment or cargo concerns promptly. Follow safe driving practices and applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Experience Required: Commercial truck driving or commercial driving experience, a valid license and endorsements appropriate to assigned equipment and cargo, and the ability to operate a manual transmission when required. Required: Knowledge of truck loading and unloading, safe load securement, and applicable hazardous materials regulations when transporting regulated cargo. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, GPS navigation skills, and experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, tractor-trailers, or freight routes. Preferred: Experience operating forklifts, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
