Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics network! In this role, you will operate various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, to ensure timely and safe delivery of freight across diverse routes. Your expertise will help keep goods moving efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate a range of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries. Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and ensure punctual deliveries. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards. Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and documentation requirements. Manage automobile transportation tasks, including the safe loading/unloading of vehicles when applicable. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in compliance with logistics procedures. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal truck performance. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams for route updates or delivery adjustments. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving. Familiarity with operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks. Experience handling logistics cargo including freight loading/unloading and securing loads for transit. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to commercial trucking and hazardous materials handling. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently; experience with manual handling is essential. Skilled in using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning on OTR routes.
