Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join a small owner-operator team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hauling goods locally with a consistent schedule, primarily working Monday through Friday and returning home daily. This role involves two dedicated semi-local hauls, providing a stable and predictable work routine. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safety on the road. Duties Safely operate and navigate trucks for semi-local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Transport goods efficiently between designated locations on a consistent schedule from Monday through Friday. Manage loading and unloading processes as required, ensuring cargo is secured properly. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes. Uphold safety standards at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the road. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Demonstrated ability to haul semi-locally with a track record of safe driving practices. Familiarity with local routes and regulations governing semi-truck operations. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries within the scheduled workdays.
