Truck Driver

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to support intrastate deliveries and transportation of goods within Washington State. Typical range for deliveries are within a 150-mile radius (round trip), CDL is not required. The successful candidate will safely transport products, assist with shipping and receiving activities, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service while supporting the organization's mission and values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Safely operate a 2008 International Model 4000 straight truck for scheduled deliveries. · Make deliveries to the Seattle area approximately twice per week. · Load, unload, secure, and transport cargo safely and efficiently. · Stage outgoing products for shipment and delivery. · Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs. · Band and secure products on skids/pallets for customer delivery. · Complete carrier bills of lading and other required shipping documentation. · Maintain accurate transportation, delivery, and vehicle records. · Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and pickups. · Follow all company safety procedures and transportation requirements. · Work collaboratively with team members to support organizational goals. · Maintain flexibility to respond to changing delivery schedules and operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS · Clean driving record with no significant violations. · Ability to pass a criminal background check. · Experience driving straight trucks preferred. · Ability to load, unload, lift, move, and secure freight safely. · Ability to accurately complete transportation paperwork and shipping documentation. · Dependable, reliable, and well-groomed. · Excellent customer service and communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Flexible schedule and availability to meet transportation needs. · Commitment to supporting a mission-driven organization. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS · Starting wage: $17.33 to $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. · Paid sick leave. · Paid vacation leave. · Medical/Health Insurance. · Dental Insurance. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and verification of an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a clean driving record throughout employment. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position involves physical exertion in loading and unloading product, fetching product from a faraway staging areas at Boeing Field, ability to properly load the product in accordance with safety considerations, ability to negotiate moderate to heavy traffic in heavily populated areas such as Seattle, extended time on the road, exposure to varied weather conditions, and light to moderate physical activity. Routes may include urban, suburban, and rural locations across Kitsap County and beyond.
