Truck Driver

About Us WSD Wheel Systems builds tire, wheel and axle assemblies for the agricultural and transportation markets. We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded Class A driver to run our local and regional delivery routes on a part-time schedule out of our Diamond Springs facility. Pay: $27–$32/hour, depending on experience Schedule: 1–2 set days per week Schedule 1–2 driving days per week, on set days so you can plan around them Home daily, no overnights A good fit for semi-retired drivers or anyone wanting steady extra days What You'll Do Deliver tire, wheel and axle assemblies to customers using WSD's trucks and trailers Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects Load, secure and unload freight, and help at the dock as needed Keep accurate hours-of-service records and delivery paperwork Represent WSD professionally with customers Required Qualifications Valid California Class A CDL At least 23 years old At least 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience Clean driving record (MVR) that meets our insurance carrier's standards Current DOT medical card Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and FMCSA Clearinghouse query Must take part in our DOT random drug and alcohol testing program Must authorize prior employer safety performance checks Must pass a road test in WSD equipment Will be enrolled in the California DMV Employer Pull Notice program Able to lift up to 50 lbs and help load and unload Strong safety record and a professional attitude Preferred Experience with flatbed and load securement Familiarity with Sierra Foothills, Sacramento-area and Central Valley routes What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $27–$32/hr, depending on experience A predictable schedule of 1–2 days a week Well-maintained company equipment A stable, family-oriented company in a growing industry How to Apply Apply through Indeed and tell us which days of the week you're available.
