Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team, responsible for hauling ink and other chemicals in tanker, reefer, or van trailers in a semi-local route. This role involves safely transporting goods to various customer locations, with live unloads completed by receivers. Duties Safely operate tanker, reefer, or van trailers to transport ink and chemical products across designated routes. Haul totes of chemicals and ink in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance before each trip. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation. Coordinate with receivers for live unloads at customer locations; no driver unload required. Ensure all outbound loads are pre-loaded before departure. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage. Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery timelines while prioritizing safety. Support compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including obtaining necessary endorsements. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Must have or be willing to obtain a Hazmat endorsement; the company will pay for renewal while on this account. Must obtain a Tanker endorsement prior to start date. Experience operating tanker or reefer trailers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Strong safety awareness and commitment to following DOT regulations. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a semi-local route environment.
