Truck Driver

Job Summary Join our transportation team as a Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local delivery routes. Assignments may involve a tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation, depending on the load and role requirements. Duties Drive commercial vehicles and complete delivery driving and route driving assignments while following planned routes and schedules. Inspect vehicles and cargo, secure freight, and load and unload shipments using safe manual handling practices. Transport general freight and, when qualified and assigned, hazardous materials or other dangerous goods in accordance with applicable requirements. Use GPS navigation, communicate route or delivery issues, and complete required trip and delivery records. Your impact: Careful driving and cargo handling help protect the public and ensure customers receive freight safely and on time. Requirements Demonstrated truck driving, commercial driving, delivery driver experience, or other relevant commercial truck driving experience. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer and manual transmission where required; experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation is useful. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hazardous materials regulations when handling hazmat. Ability to perform manual handling and truck loading and unloading, and to manage logistics cargo handling safely. Valid commercial driving credentials required for assigned vehicle and cargo; willingness to follow applicable safety procedures and route instructions.
