Truck driver

Overview Join our transportation team as a Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, and may handle over-the-road (OTR) routes, local route driving, or delivery driving. Work may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on the load and assignment. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their freight and keep supply chains moving. Duties Drive assigned routes using GPS navigation and follow dispatch instructions. Inspect vehicles and secure freight before departure; report equipment or cargo concerns. Load and unload freight, using safe manual handling practices and a forklift when authorized. Transport general freight and, when assigned and qualified, hazardous materials or dangerous goods. Maintain delivery records and follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and applicable hazardous materials regulations. Requirements Demonstrated truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver experience; experience with commercial truck driving and tractor-trailers is preferred. Ability to drive a manual transmission and safely perform required loading, unloading, and other physical tasks. Familiarity with freight and logistics cargo handling; experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation is an asset. Knowledge of GPS navigation, route driving, and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes is preferred. Required licenses and qualifications for assigned vehicles and cargo, including hazmat authorization when applicable; forklift experience is an asset.
