Truck Driver

Job Overview Join our transportation team as a Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local delivery routes or over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, using GPS navigation to plan and follow assigned routes. Depending on the load and equipment, work may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive the freight and goods they need. Responsibilities Perform truck driving, commercial driving, and delivery driving with tractor-trailers or other assigned vehicles; operate manual transmissions when required. Plan and complete route driving using GPS navigation, following dispatch instructions and applicable delivery procedures. Load and unload freight, including manual handling and logistics cargo handling; secure cargo and check loads before departure. Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods only when assigned and authorized, following applicable handling and documentation procedures. Inspect and maintain assigned equipment, and report vehicle, cargo, route, or delivery issues promptly. Qualifications Required: Valid commercial driver’s license and ability to meet applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements. Required: Safe driving practices, ability to handle freight, and readiness to load and unload cargo as needed. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, commercial truck driving, or tractor-trailer experience. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed, tanker, automobile transportation, or OTR routes. Preferred: Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations and relevant endorsements for Hazmat (hazardous materials) loads.
