Truck Driver
GIMA TRUCKINGOverview Join our team as a Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local delivery routes or over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, using GPS navigation to reach destinations and coordinating cargo handling at pickup and delivery points. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive the freight they need while supporting dependable logistics operations. Duties Drive tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles, including manual-transmission trucks, according to assigned routes. Deliver freight and handle loading and unloading, using safe manual-handling practices and securing cargo appropriately. Transport cargo using equipment such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers, as assigned. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Use GPS navigation, inspect equipment, and communicate route or delivery issues through established procedures. Skills Required: Valid commercial driving qualifications appropriate to the assigned vehicle and cargo, plus safe truck-driving and delivery-driving practices. Required: Ability to load and unload freight and perform manual handling safely. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, route driving, automobile transportation, or logistics cargo handling experience. Preferred: Experience with OTR routes, tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers Good driving skills and record to meet insurance requirements Pay: $3,200.00 - $4,200.00 per week Work Location: On the road
