Truck Driver
ConfidentialJob Summary We’re seeking a dependable Truck Driver to move freight safely and deliver it on schedule. You’ll operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, and may handle refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation loads, depending on assignments. Routes may include local delivery driving and over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your impact: Safe, careful transport helps customers receive their freight in good condition and keeps deliveries moving reliably. Duties Drive commercial vehicles on assigned routes using GPS navigation and route-planning tools. Load and unload freight; secure cargo and perform manual handling as needed. Inspect vehicles and loads before, during, and after trips, and report issues promptly. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Complete delivery records and communicate route or shipment updates to dispatch. Experience Required: Valid commercial driver’s license and safe commercial driving experience. Required: Knowledge of truck driving, delivery driving, freight handling, and cargo loading and unloading. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, logistics cargo handling, and route driving experience. Preferred: Experience with flatbeds and dry vans and OTR routes.
