Truck Dispatcher

Messi Freightlines Inc. is looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher to manage and coordinate Dry Van and Reefer loads across Canada and the United States. Responsibilities: Find and book profitable loads using Loadlink, DAT, broker portals, and other load boards. Negotiate competitive freight rates with brokers and customers. Dispatch drivers and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments. Plan efficient routes and secure backhaul loads to minimize empty miles. Track shipments and provide timely updates to drivers, brokers, and customers. Handle rate confirmations, load information, appointment details, and required paperwork. Communicate professionally with brokers, shippers, receivers, and drivers. Resolve delays, appointment changes, and other transportation issues. Maintain accurate records of loads and driver movements. Focus on Canada–USA cross-border Dry Van and Reefer freight. Requirements: Previous truck dispatching experience preferred. Experience with Loadlink and/or DAT is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Canada–USA cross-border trucking. Strong rate negotiation and load-booking skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Dry Van and Reefer operations is an asset.
