Truck Boss / Field Dispatcher - Emergency Response (Temporary)
310 Onsite310 Onsite located in New River, AZ is seeking 2 experienced Truck Bosses / Field Dispatchers to support a temporary emergency-response water-hauling operation in Flagstaff, A Z. One position will support day operations and one will support night operations. This is a hands-on field role responsible for keeping trucks, drivers, and operations moving safely and efficiently. Position Highlights: Approximately 1.5-month temporary assignment Potential extension if emergency-response needs continue Potential full-time opportunity based on performance and company needs $400 per day Basecamp in Flagstaff, AZ Onsite emergency-response operation On-site sleeping accommodations, 3 meals a day, and showers provided Employees may bring their own tent if preferred Schedule based on operational and emergency-response needs Key Responsibilities: Monitor and track trucks through Samsara Dispatch and direct CDL drivers throughout the operation Coordinate truck flow, routes, staging, loading, and deliveries Monitor traffic, road conditions, construction activity, and access issues Communicate with drivers, local construction crews, and company leadership Address delays, changing conditions, and operational issues in real time Maintain accountability for trucks, assignments, and field operations Qualifications: Previous Samsara/fleet-tracking experience Previous commercial truck dispatch experience Experience coordinating multiple trucks and CDL drivers Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency-response environment Reliable and adaptable to changing operational needs Willingness to work onsite in Flagstaff and stay at the temporary base camp Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for experienced field dispatch and fleet operations professionals who are comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced emergency-response environment. The ideal candidate is confident using Samsara, coordinating CDL drivers, monitoring multiple trucks in real time, and communicating clearly with drivers and field crews to keep the operation running smoothly. Pay: $400.00 per day Experience: Dispatching: 2 years (Required) Emergency response: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
