Truck and Trailer Mechanic

ience a plus but not a requirement. WAGES ARE BASED ON EXPERIENCE!
• Perform work as outlined in repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform needed repairs
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts/supplies
• Advise Lead Mechanic or Shop Supervisor if additional work is needed; if work on repair order is not needed, or if job will take longer than expected
• Document all work performed
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems, sensors, wiring and ECU’s
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
• 2 year experience in a “full service” maintenance facility preferred
• Must be able to work independently and stay focused on job assigned
• Must possess strong trouble shooting skills to assess needed repairs
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
