Truck & Trailer Mechanic – First & Second Shift Available Mitchell Trucking and Excavating / Mitchell Trailer Leasing LLC Location: Wadesville, IN | Full-Time / Part -Time We are hiring experienced, dependable truck and trailer mechanics to maintain and repair our fleet of dump trucks, semi trucks, and trailers. First and second shift options are available. This position includes shop work and occasional field repairs. We’re looking for someone who can troubleshoot problems, complete quality repairs, and take pride in keeping equipment safe and ready to work. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair truck and trailer mechanical problems. Repair air brakes, electrical systems, lighting, suspension, hydraulics, and driveline components. Service trailer brakes, wheel bearings, landing gear, doors, and related components. Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filters, greasing, and inspections. Identify needed repairs before they cause breakdowns. Keep accurate maintenance records and maintain a clean, organized work area. Communicate repair needs and equipment status with management. Qualifications Previous experience repairing heavy trucks and/or semi trailers. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. Dependable attendance and a commitment to safe, quality work. Valid driver’s license. Diesel engine, welding, and fabrication experience are a plus. CDL preferred but not required.
