RIGHT SERVICE RIGHT CHOICEJob Summary RIGHT SERVICE RIGHT CHOICE is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, familiarity with automotive repair, and experience working with various heavy equipment. We also provide LMIA support for eligible candidates. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting on complex systems Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble and assemble components Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting and equipment operation Assist in the inspection of vehicles and machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards Skills Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks, trailers Knowledge of automotive repair, electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs Document work orders Job requirements: This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic looking to work in a fast-paced environment that values expertise in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
