Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Counter Manager to lead our beauty and cosmetics retail team. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations at the counter, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales through expert product knowledge and engaging interactions. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the counter team to achieve sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management. Provide personalized beauty consultations, makeup applications, and product demonstrations to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage daily retail operations including stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining a visually appealing display. Utilize Millennium or other salon software to process transactions accurately, handle cash and POS (Point of Sale) systems, and track sales data. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable solutions to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone etiquette and in person, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Oversee inventory management, stock organization, and product ordering while adhering to retail math principles for accurate stock levels. Engage with customers on social media platforms to promote products, events, and special offers, boosting brand visibility. Conduct product demos and educate clients on new beauty trends or techniques to foster loyalty and repeat business. Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including proper cash handling procedures and front desk responsibilities. Skills Strong proficiency with Millennium salon software and retail POS systems for seamless transactions. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele. Deep knowledge of cosmetology, makeup application techniques, and beauty & cosmetics sales strategies. Proven experience in retail sales environments with a focus on upselling and customer engagement. Skilled in social media management to promote products and events effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while managing stock levels and merchandising displays. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory tracking. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism via phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions. Time management skills that ensure efficient daily operations from front desk duties to product stocking. Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for connecting with a broader customer base.
