Trim Buyer & Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trim Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. We are a high end garment manufacturer located in Vernon. This job requires someone with an understanding of trim used for garments, is highly organized, and understands math. Duties Coordinate the purchasing and following up of trim needed per BOMs Utilize math skills along with BOM yields to understand correct quantities needed to be purchased Receive trim, check against the purchase order and make sure the received units match what was ordered Organize trim in an intuitive manner as it comes in, whether from the vendor or from after a production run has happened, as it needs to go back into inventory. Pull trim accordingly per order Utilize management software, or be computer savvy and able to work with ERP system provided (apparel magic) Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues promptly, minimizing delays and cost overruns Analyze Excel data for cost management, schedule updates, and performance metrics to support project planning and execution Requirements Literate in Math Highly Organized Able to maintain WIP Able to physically pull trim as needed Good with counting Good with tracking Previous experience in the garment industry of at least 2 years Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
