Tri-Axle Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Tri-Axle Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for local haulage of aggregate materials, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a commitment to safe driving practices, adherence to DOT regulations, and maintaining a professional attitude on the road. The position offers hourly pay and is integral to our operations in transporting construction materials efficiently and securely. Duties Operate a tri-axle dump truck for local haulage of aggregate materials to various job sites. Ensure all loads are secured properly and delivered safely in accordance with DOT regulations. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road, prioritizing safe driving at all times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of hours worked, deliveries made, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts. Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues. Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Valid Class B CDL license with no restrictions required. Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and compliance standards. Proven experience operating tri-axle dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles preferred. Strong commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Good communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules. Physical ability to load, unload, and secure aggregate materials as needed.
