Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will safely transport materials to and from job sites while ensuring efficient operation of your vehicle. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to manage loads effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport materials including dirt, millings, topsoil, construction debris, and winter salt
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluids, tires, safety checks)
• Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure loads
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues on the road
Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of tri-axle dump truck experience preferred
• Experience with milling and paving is a plus
• Valid CDL Class B (Class A preferred) with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
Schedule
• Monday–Friday
• 8+ hour shifts + overtime
• Need to be open to working Saturdays
• Need to be open to working nights as schedule dictates
