CFM FRIEGHTCDL Class B Trash Compactor Truck Driver / Warehouse & Shipping Assistant Company: Complete Filter Media Global Location: Lancaster, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break Job Summary Complete Filter Media Global is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious CDL Class B Trash Compactor Truck Driver / Warehouse & Shipping Assistant. This employee collects, loads, transports, and disposes of waste materials from manufacturing and warehouse areas, makes multiple trips to the landfill or designated disposal facility as needed, and assists with shipping operations when not performing waste disposal duties. This is a hands-on position requiring physical work. Skid steer experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities — Trash Collection & Truck Operations · Safely operate a Class B trash compactor truck and transport waste to designated disposal facilities. · Collect and physically load trash, scrap, and designated waste from warehouse and manufacturing areas. · Make multiple disposal trips as needed throughout the workday. · Operate compactor equipment safely and ensure loads are properly secured. · Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. · Maintain disposal records, weight tickets, and other required documentation. · Follow applicable DOT/FMCSA rules, traffic laws, and company safety procedures; keep waste collection areas clean. Warehouse & Shipping Assistance · Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks as needed. · Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment when trained and authorized. · Move, stage, organize, and secure materials for shipment or storage. · Maintain orderly warehouse and loading dock areas and perform related duties as assigned. Equipment Operation · Operate a skid steer to move waste or materials when trained and authorized. · Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance concerns; follow equipment safety procedures. Required Qualifications · Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). · Acceptable driving record and ability to meet applicable DOT medical qualification requirements. · Ability to comply with applicable DOT/FMCSA rules, including required drug and alcohol testing. · Ability to safely operate a commercial trash compactor truck and perform physically demanding work. · Dependability, punctuality, attention to safety, and willingness to assist with warehouse and shipping work. Preferred Qualifications · Commercial truck, trash truck, or similar driving experience. · Skid steer experience (preferred, not required). · Forklift experience and prior manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or shipping experience. Physical Requirements · Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, push, pull, and lift materials; lift up to 50 pounds independently. · Climb in and out of trucks and equipment; work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. · Work around industrial noise, dust, and moving equipment. · Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation & Schedule · Starting pay: $20.00 per hour. · Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM; 30-minute unpaid lunch; 40 scheduled paid hours per week.
