Transportation Training Manager

responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining transportation and logistics training for drivers, shipping staff, and dispatch within a custom metal fabrication environment. Design And Manage Training Curriculum Covering DOT compliance and regulatory requirements Safe operation of equipment Load securement practices Routing procedures Yard and warehouse traffic rules Key Duties Deliver classroom and hands-on training Evaluate learner performance and competency Maintain training records and documentation Support incident reviews and implement corrective improvements Partner with operations and safety teams to drive continuous improvement Support new-hire onboarding and reinforce safe, reliable, on-time delivery culture Qualifications/skills: Strong knowledge of DOT compliance, transportation safety practices, and logistics operations; ability to build effective training programs; excellent communication, evaluation, and documentation skills; collaborative mindset with operations and safety stakeholders.
