Transportation Support Analyst
Primary Talent PartnersPrimary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Transportation Support Analyst with our power technology client in Whiteland, IN. This is an 11-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $28.00 - $30.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Schedule: This position is expected to extend beyond one year and will follow a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule, with some overtime as needed. Description: The Transportation Support Analyst provides administrative and operational support for the transportation team. The role supports shipping label creation, carrier claims documentation, data management, customer communication, and general office coordination to help ensure accurate and timely execution of daily transportation processes. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage shipping labels for transportation activities (Inbound Supplier Shipments, Quality Returns, Premium Freight Requests (PFRs), etc.). Submit and track transportation carrier claims and maintain required supporting documentation. Coordinate and maintain documents, reports, emails, presentations, and other business communications with guidance from the supervisor. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to track, document, analyze, and report information. Review and proofread documents for grammar, spelling, accuracy, consistency of terms, and completeness. Ensure document text and graphics follow corporate and organizational guidelines and standards. Acquire, review, input, format, and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets, databases, and other electronic tools. Communicate with internal and external customers by email and phone, research solutions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate resource with supervisor input when needed. Participate in process improvement activities, self-audits, team audits, and resulting corrective actions. Build a strong internal network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities. Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion in all responsibilities. Perform other duties as required to support transportation operations and business objectives. Qualifications: Education Technical/BS preferred in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent Experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Minimum of two years of logistics/supply chain experience or experience in an analytical role outside of supply chain Understanding of supply chain terminology Preferred Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused mindset with practical problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience supporting transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations is preferred.
