Creative InnovationBenefits: Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations, coordinate carrier capacity, and manage dispatch and delivery performance. This role works closely with warehouse teams, drivers, and transportation partners to ensure shipments are picked up and delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate daily transportation capacity based on shipment volume, delivery requirements, and warehouse schedules. Coordinate vehicle assignments, dispatch schedules, pickup appointments, and delivery routes. Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with carriers and transportation service providers. Monitor shipment progress and promptly resolve delays, missed pickups, capacity shortages, and delivery exceptions. Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure shipments are ready for loading and dispatched on schedule. Monitor carrier performance, including on-time pickup and delivery, service quality, and shipment damage. Review transportation rates, verify freight charges, and help control transportation costs. Maintain accurate dispatch records, shipment tracking information, and proof of delivery. Review carrier qualifications and required documentation, and reinforce applicable transportation and safety requirements. Train and supervise dispatch or transportation staff, assign daily tasks, and manage shift handovers. Report operational issues and performance results to management, and recommend process improvements. Perform other transportation and logistics duties assigned by management. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or a related field. Previous experience supervising transportation operations or coordinating carrier capacity preferred. Familiarity with dispatching, route planning, carrier management, and shipment tracking. Experience in e-commerce logistics, cross-border logistics, or warehouse transportation preferred. An established network of reliable carriers or transportation providers is a plus. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments, respond to operational changes, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a focus on service quality and cost control. Availability to support urgent transportation needs outside regular business hours when required.
