Transportation Supervisor
Foods Galore IncOverview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to support our transportation and logistics operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination of our fleet of drivers and trucks. This hands-on leadership role ensures safe, efficient and compliant delivery operations while providing direct oversight of drivers, coordinating fleet management activities, assisting with backhaul opportunities and effectively communicate between Transportation, Sales, Operations and Customers. The ideal candidate will have strong transportation experience, working knowledge of Samsara fleet management system and a solid understanding of DOT Hours of Service regulations. Duties Provide daily supervision and support for drivers. Conduct daily driver check-ins and communicate operational priorities and service expectations Monitor driver attendance, performance, productivity, and compliance with company policies Review and address service failures, delivery issues, customer complaints, and driver concerns Assist with driver onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development Promote safe operating practices and reinforce company safety standards Participate in accident investigations and corrective action plans when necessary Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have experience with Samsara Fleet Management Systems?
