quasar energy group is a dynamic renewable energy company based in a regional location. We specialize in designing, building, owning, and operating anaerobic digestion facilities and alternative fueling stations that promote environmental sustainability by converting organic waste into clean, renewable energy sources. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Duties Coordinate the allocation of materials to quasar’s anaerobic digester facilities. Maintain and develop positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, brokers, mechanics, and customer personnel involved in or directly related to scheduling and logistics. Provide researched data to Biomass Account Executives and Equate Assistant Managers for new truck routes and make recommendations Manage new customer pickups and walk-through set-up requirements. Manage logistics staff comprised of CDL truck drivers. Coordinate repairs and maintenance. Responsible for moving equipment between locations Manage inventory of equipment on trucks such as hoses, fittings, etc. Make recommendations for new or replacement truck and trailer purchases. Perform complete financial analysis of all routes used by both quasar vehicles to minimize transportation expense of effluent and feedstocks. Use of GPS tracking technology will be required. Analyze weekly utilization reports showing driver overtime, truck uptime, truck hourly costs, revenue generation, and extraordinary expense tracking. Review logistics performance with management against targets, benchmarks and service agreements. Be available for emergency situations where logistics expertise is required. Driving will comprise approximately 10% - 20% Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with focus in project management, logistics or transportation preferred. 3 years minimum logistics experience; CDL/driving experience preferred. Knowledge of and compliance with DOT regulations. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented, resourceful and willing to take initiative. Able to work independently or with minimal supervision. Pay: $25.80 - $34.00 per hour Work Location: In person
