Transportation Supervisor

🚚 We’re hiring: Transportation Supervisor | GOFO 📍 Mississauga, ON | On-site GOFO is looking for a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate container drayage operations, manage carrier relationships, and support reliable, on-time deliveries. What you’ll do: • Monitor and manage container drayage movements, shipment status, and delivery timelines. • Coordinate daily container delivery schedules with drayage carriers. • Maintain carrier relationships and source backup carriers when capacity is limited. • Coordinate timely pre-pull yard solutions when needed. • Track logistics service provider performance and improve on-time delivery, lead times, and responsiveness to quotation requests. • Share delivery updates with customers and prepare monthly KPI and ad hoc reports. • Document corrective actions and improvement plans, and verify their effectiveness. What we’re looking for: • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or GED. • In-depth understanding of the U.S. transportation industry, particularly inland transportation and freight forwarding. • Strong project and people management skills. • Ability to monitor drayage operations through GPS tracking, delivery timeline control, and performance evaluation. 📩 Send your resume in PDF format to wennie.duan@gofo.com with “Transportation Supervisor” in the subject line.
