In this role, you will be part of the Metro DC team and, more specifically, reporting to the VHB office in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will support our clients' efforts to plan, design, and analyze new and improved transportation facilities that support and enhance mobility for all transportation modes while reducing crashes, saving lives, and preventing injuries.
Responsibilities Work within a team of professionals in developing transportation engineering, safety, and planning solutions for multimodal transportation projects Develop creative solutions to address challenging safety and mobility problems in urban, suburban, and rural environments Conduct multimodal safety transportation analyses, including both network -wide and individual corridor or intersection safety and improvement studies Conduct research, prepare reports, and present findings and results to clients, including both taking on a leadership role and also supporting other team members in the develo
