Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Spanish Transportation Safety Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Compton, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented transportation compliance professional who understands the importance of accurate driver records, regulatory documentation, and safety-focused operations. The Transportation Safety Coordinator will support driver qualification file management, CDL and medical certificate verification, audit preparation, and ongoing compliance tracking. Key Responsibilities Review and verify Commercial Driver Licenses, endorsements, medical certificates, and other driver credentials for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Maintain driver qualification files, compliance records, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and transportation regulations. Assist with new driver onboarding, including employment documentation, E-Verify verification, and orientation support. Support CHP, DOT, and other regulatory audits by preparing records, organizing documentation, and responding to records requests. Monitor expiration dates for licenses, medical certificates, endorsements, and required qualifications to ensure timely renewals. Communicate with drivers and internal teams regarding missing documents, compliance requirements, record updates, and retention activities.
