Transportation Safety and Compliance Manager

Role Summary Lead transportation safety, driver training, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety programs to reduce operational risk and strengthen safety culture. Key Duties Manage and oversee driver qualification and training programs Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and workplace safety regulations Maintain audit-ready safety, training, and compliance records Investigate incidents and identify root causes to prevent recurrence Conduct inspections and safety evaluations across transportation and work areas Partner with operations, fleet, HR, and leadership to improve safety processes and outcomes Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of transportation safety, driver training, and regulatory requirements Proven ability to conduct incident investigations and inspections Excellent documentation and record-keeping for audit readiness Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams Ability to drive risk reduction and continuous improvement in safety practices
