The Transportation Representative is responsible for providing electronic manifest (ACE/ACI) services to clients by accurately preparing and submitting manifests to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). This role also performs accurate data entry of client trip and fuel records to support fuel tax reporting and compliance. The position monitors manifest activity, resolves issues, and communicates effectively with clients and customs brokers to ensure timely processing. This position requires the flexibility to work evenings, after-hours, weekends, and other assigned shifts.
Prepare and submit electronic manifests to CBP and CBSA.
Manage and track ACE/ACI activity and follow up on any issues that arise.
Communicate with clients and customs brokers by email and phone.
Identify and apply the proper method to enter all assigned trip and fuel records.
Examine documents, anticipate common errors, and correct them before entering data.
Identify issues within trip and fuel records that may affect the accuracy of data used for a company’s tax return.
Verify accuracy and completeness of all data entered.
Perform clerical duties such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing, and photocopying.
Maintain spreadsheets and update them as needed.
Handle incoming calls and manage a high volume of daily inquiries.
Conduct drug and alcohol collections within the office environment, ensuring all procedures are completed accurately, securely, and in accordance with applicable collection guidelines.
Perform specimen collections including urine, oral‑fluid, and breath collections based on client requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, administrative support, customer service, or a related office environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, customs brokers, and internal teams.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Obtain DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification after 3 months of employment.
Obtain DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) certification after 3 months of employment.

Compensation for this role is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, training, and internal equity. Pay may also vary based on geographic location in accordance with our compensation practices.
