Transportation Project Manager

An established multidisciplinary engineering company is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to its Houston operation. The successful candidate will manage complex roadway improvement projects while providing technical direction to engineering teams and maintaining strong relationships with public-sector clients. Salary: $130,000-$185,000 depending on experience Job Specifications: Direct the design and delivery of roadway, highway and municipal transportation projects Develop project work plans, schedules, budgets and staffing requirements Oversee schematic design, geometric design and PS&E production Coordinate drainage, traffic, structures, utilities and other project disciplines Provide technical leadership and complete senior-level design reviews Manage communication with TxDOT, municipalities and partner consultants Monitor project performance and resolve delivery issues Prepare scopes, fees and technical content for project proposals Coach engineers and support the growth of the transportation team Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Active Texas Professional Engineer license Significant transportation or roadway design experience Previous project-management responsibility Understanding of TxDOT criteria, manuals and delivery requirements Experience leading PS&E or roadway reconstruction projects Ability to manage budgets, schedules, staff and client expectations Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Relationships within the Houston transportation market would be advantageous If this role is of interest, please apply below and a member of the team will be in contact with feedback shortly.
