Responsibilities
• Design and implement strategic transportation routes that maximize cost-effectiveness and efficiency while ensuring timely deliveries across the region.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws, regulations, and standards.
• Cultivate strong relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless supply chain operations.
• Evaluate transportation costs and performance data to recommend improvements or adjustments to logistics strategies.
• Lead, train, and assess transportation personnel to maintain a highly competent and effective team.
• Coordinate with other regional managers to align logistics operations across different areas for overall supply chain enhancements.
• Address any logistical emergencies or shipment issues swiftly, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
