Transportation Operations Manager

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Transportation Operations Manager with strong leadership skills, initiative, and a background in freight transportation and logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s daily operations, ensuring fleet efficiency, on-time deliveries, cost control, and high-quality customer service. Responsibilities * Oversee and coordinate daily transportation, dispatch, and logistics operations. * Manage and optimize fleet utilization, vehicles, and available resources. * Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, customers, vendors, and administrative staff. * Monitor on-time delivery performance, transit times, and service levels. * Control operating expenses, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and trip-related costs. * Monitor and coordinate preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance. * Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase profitability. * Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations. * Resolve operational issues and respond to urgent situations in a timely manner. * Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams. Requirements * Experience in transportation operations, freight logistics, or fleet management preferred. * Ability to coordinate personnel and manage multiple operational priorities. * Strong communication and decision-making skills. * Bilingual in English and Spanish.
