Transportation Operations Manager

LOGISS LLC is recruiting for a proposed coordinated human-service transportation operation in the Heart of Georgia Altamaha region of Georgia. The anticipated service start is July 1, 2027. Appointment depends on contract award, the final service area, satisfactory qualification checks and a separate written employment agreement. This is advance recruitment; no position or contract award is guaranteed. Location: Heart of Georgia Altamaha region, Georgia. Final office location will depend on the counties awarded. Schedule: Anticipated full-time position. Some evening, weekend and on-call availability may be required. Final schedule will be discussed during the interview. Responsibilities Manage drivers and dispatchers, daily service coverage, training and corrective actions. Coordinate rural and cross-county routes, accessibility needs and backup staffing. Track service performance and help implement startup and operating procedures. Qualifications Demonstrated transportation operations and staff-supervision experience. Experience with demand-response scheduling, passenger assistance and service recovery. Availability for local work and scheduled after-hours coverage.
