Operations Coordinator — Vamp Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Schedule: Full-time or part-time; morning, evening, and overnight shifts About the Role Vamp is seeking an Operations Coordinator to keep our transportation service running reliably, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will be the primary operations contact during your shift, monitoring trips, supporting drivers and riders, and resolving service issues. You will work independently within established procedures, with an operations manager available for escalations. Your role is to monitor actual driver availability and help ensure Vamp requests receive timely, reliable service. Responsibilities Ensure drivers arrive to designated shift time Monitor live trips, upcoming reservations, and automated dispatch activity. Identify unassigned requests, delayed pickups, driver availability gaps, and cancellations; take appropriate action. Communicate with drivers about trip assignments, availability, service issues, and upcoming bookings. Assist riders with booking questions, pickup updates, trip concerns, and service recovery. Coordinate with the fleet team on charging, vehicle readiness, maintenance issues, and breakdowns. Escalate safety incidents, urgent operational problems, and decisions outside your authority promptly. Keep accurate records of incidents, cancellations, customer concerns, and actions taken. Complete a clear shift handover covering unresolved issues, upcoming reservations, and driver coverage. Identify recurring problems and recommend practical improvements. What Success Looks Like Shifts are covered 100% Trips and reservations are monitored consistently. Riders and drivers receive clear, timely communication. Service problems are addressed promptly and escalated appropriately. Records are accurate, and unresolved issues have a clear owner. Shift handovers keep service running smoothly. You contribute to improved trip completion, pickup reliability, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in dispatch, transportation operations, logistics, customer support, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize several urgent issues while remaining calm and professional. Confidence working independently and knowing when to escalate. Comfort using dashboards, messaging tools, spreadsheets, and other business software. Reliable attendance and availability for your assigned schedule. Experience with rideshare operations, fleet coordination, or the DFW area is a plus. Schedule Vamp operates seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
