Transportation Management Specialist – Greer, SC🚨 Now Hiring: Transportation Management Specialist📍 Greer, SC💰 $37.50–$49.25 per hour🕗 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM📅 40 hours per week | Long-term, ongoing contract💼 W-2 position🏢 100% Onsite – No Remote Work🎁 PTO, Holiday Pay & Sick Pay OfferedWhat will you actually be doing?In simple terms, you will help make sure transportation companies are doing their jobs correctly and keeping freight moving. You will work with trucking and transportation providers, warehouse teams, and other departments to solve problems, track performance, and make sure transportation rules are followed. You will help get damaged trailers repaired, look at transportation problems, create reports, and lead projects to improve the way things work. You will also follow up when a transportation provider is not meeting expectations and help get the issue fixed.What are we looking for?You must have the following experience:5+ years of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations experience5+ years of logistics service provider/supplier compliance or supply chain management experience3+ years of Project Management experience3+ years of transportation scheduling experience3+ years of predictive analytics or statistical risk analysis experience5+ years of professional problem-solving experienceAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience creating reports using Excel and/or Power BIStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with transportation service providers and suppliersAbility to understand warehouse processes and how freight moves into and out of a warehouseAbility to manage transportation-related projects and resolve operational issuesEducationA Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.Equivalent experience may be considered: 4+ additional years of related professional experience may substitute for the degree requirement.Schedule RequirementsThis is primarily a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 1st shift position.Why consider this opportunity?This is a long-term, ongoing position with no scheduled end date.
