Transportation Load Planner & Dispatcher

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Load Planner to join our team. The Load Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the transportation of goods to ensure timely deliveries. Please read the list of duties, carefully. This position is very diverse and includes a lot of moving parts. We are looking for that person that is one in a million when it comes to eye for detail, work ethic and dedication to the company and the outcome of their work. This position CAN include weekends, holidays, and after hours - on call hours. This is a non-negotiable part of this position. Duties - Analyze freight orders and determine the most efficient shipping method - Communicate with drivers to schedule pickups and deliveries - Utilize AVAAL systems for load planning, dispatching and SAMSARA for GPS tracking - Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with team of dispatchers to ensure all orders are covered - Type and maintain accurate shipping documentation - Ensure all shipments comply with regulatory requirements - Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with internal and external stakeholders - Order finalizing, entering revenue, and attaching PODS to all deliveries -Ensuring drivers are efficiently registering hours Requirements - Proven experience in load planning and dispatching, must have 2 years experience within the transportation industry. - Proficiency in AVAAL, Samsara and other relevant software applications - Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with carriers and team members - Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to start immediately Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $49,900.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Vision care Experience: dispatching: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
