Our transportation maintenance group supports a ~50-truck fleet for a respected local distributor. Your mission: maximize uptime through sharp diagnostics, diligent PMs, and quality repairs—without getting stuck doing the same fix over and over. Impact you’ll make Diagnose complex issues with modern diagnostic tools and turn insights into reliable repairs. Own preventive maintenance schedules and perform engine, transmission, and brake work to spec. Partner with teammates to ensure every truck leaves safe, compliant, and delivery-ready. Growth-minded requirements Background in diesel, truck, automotive, heavy equipment/yellow iron, or farm equipment. Your own tools and a commitment to craftsmanship. Valid New York State driver’s license; comfortable operating company vehicles (CDL A not required). Ability to pass drug testing, (including THC) Work-life balance, built in 2nd Shift: Around 2:00pm–10:00/10:30pm with a $3/hr differential. 3rd Shift: Around 9:30pm–6:00am with a $4/hr differential. Guaranteed 40 hours; overtime available as needed; weekends are typically free. Rewards $24–$30 per hour (experience-based) + $3–$4/hr shift differential + OT potential.
