By joining our Project Development Branch, Planning Section as a Transportation Engineering Technologist Supervisor in Hopkins County, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee the work of employees within the Planning Section, review completed work of contractors, manage the collection of traffic data and more. Summary Of Responsibilities Direct line supervision of the activities of employees in the section. Plan, schedule, and supervise work and activities for complex projects under development or review. Review engineering plans, manage the collection of traffic data, oversee traffic count tech. Estimate project costs and prepare technical reports, organize, conduct meetings, develop plans, and estimates associated with projects. Approve planning employees’ timesheets, leave requests and conduct performance reviews Perform other duties as assigned.
