Description

We are currently searching for a Transportation Engineer in our Calgary office.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on transportation projects with a focus on highways, roads, and transportation-related infrastructure. This position will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

Your responsibilities will include: 
•    Providing project technical leadership role with a team in the preparation of designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents, as well as participating  
        in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection as required. 
•    Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases;
•    Regular communications with clients to confirm expectations throughout all project phases.
•    Delivering projects within identified schedules.
•    Mentoring and coaching a team of engineers and technologists.
•    Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.



Requirements

What you will bring:
•    Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution, with key transportation electives or transportation project experience.
•    15+ years of progressive transportation experience.
•    Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•    Committed team player and the ability to work independently. 
•    Valid driver’s license.
•    Ability to travel within Alberta.
