Transportation Engineer

THE POSITION As a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) , you'll play a key role in delivering transportation engineering services and helping establish our growing Florida operations. You'll contribute technical expertise, professional judgment, and leadership to ensure our projects meet applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare, analyze, design, and review transportation engineering plans, studies, and reports such as: Traffic Control Plans; Traffic Impact Assessments; Signal timing; Roadway design; Other transportation related services and deliverables. Establish and maintain FBPE compliance-related items and procedures. Working with other Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians within the company; Meeting with Contractors, Developers, and Municipal / FDOT Representatives; This role is ideal for someone passionate about their career in the Construction and Engineering industries and eager to bring fresh ideas to a growing team. This is a full-time, in-person position in Winter Garden, FL. Applicants must reside and be able to legally work in United States. We are looking for an individual who embodies the following skills and attributes: Required: Active Florida PE license. Experience preparing and reviewing transportation engineering deliverables. Familiarity with applicable Florida transportation design standards. Strong technical communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage engineering responsibilities. Preferred: Traffic Impact Studies. Traffic signal timing. Traffic control plans. Roadway design. Temporary Traffic Control Plans. AutoCAD, Synchro, AutoTURN, or similar software.
