Transportation (Dump Truck and Water Truck) Foreman

Fred Smith Company is hiring an experienced Fleet CDL (Dump Truck and Water Truck) Foreman for our Eastern Division in North Carolina. This leadership role oversees crew leaders and drivers hauling diverse loads and materials to active commercial sitework, public infrastructure, and asphalt job sites. Key Responsibilities Supervise Crews: Direct and organize daily dispatch for assigned CDL drivers. Manage Logistics: Ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of equipment and materials. Enforce Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws, safety protocols, and weight limits. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 year of specialized heavy civil transport (Dump Truck and Water Truck) and supervisory experience. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of motor carrier regulations, required permits, and commercial vehicles. Skills: Proven track record driving Dump Trucks with diverse loads (rough haul/ABC/Asphalt/etc). Licensing: Must hold and maintain a valid North Carolina Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
