Transportation Driver (Part-Time) - Columbus
Magnolia ManorTITLE: Transportation Driver REPORTS TO: Administrator/ Transportation Supervisor METHOD OF PAY: Hourly PURPOSE OF POSITION: The primary purpose of your job position is to provide transportation in a safe and timely manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor. ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate with dispatcher on Two Way Radio Be able to operate a Hydraulic Lift. Report to Dispatcher and pick up patient schedule daily. Transport 5 - 6 patients per day to and from doctors’ appointments. Inspect van daily. (ex: check oil, tires, first aid kit & fire extinguisher) Ensure that all passengers are secured by seat belts. Complete all necessary forms, (ex: DMA 408, van log, etc.) Collect co-payments and private payments from patients Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to assure that the needs of the facility are met. KEY CHARACTERISTICS: Highly focused and strong attention to detail Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Be a minimum of 25 years of age and of good moral character. Must have CPR and First Aid License. Must have completed the Police Traffic Course.
