Transportation Coordinator/Dispatcher

Qualifications: Previous transportation, logistics, dispatching, or automotive industry experience preferred. AUCTION EXPERIENCE A PLUS. AutoIMS experience is a plus Self-motivated and dependable Highly organized with excellent time-management skills Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize multiple appointments and transportation requests Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional and courteous communication with clients, customers, transporters, and internal staff Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Computer literacy and ability to learn and navigate multiple computer systems Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Ability to meet deadlines and efficiently manage daily responsibilities Professional appearance and demeanor Proactive approach to job responsibilities and daily operations Strong customer service skills Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate vehicle transportation appointments and pickups Dispatch transporters and provide accurate pickup information and instructions Communicate professionally with transporters, clients, customers, dealerships, and internal staff Monitor scheduled pickups and follow up on outstanding transportation needs Coordinate changes, delays, cancellations, and rescheduled pickups Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation Track vehicles throughout the transportation process Ensure transportation schedules are organized and updated in a timely manner Answer phone calls, emails, and other customer inquiries related to transportation Resolve transportation issues quickly and professionally Provide detailed follow-up with customers and transporters Assist with other administrative and operational duties as needed Work closely with the DAX team to ensure vehicles are picked up and transported efficiently DAX offers vacation, sick, dental, vision, medical insurance, 401(k), and 401(k) matching. $16-$19 per hour Monday – Friday All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and drug testing in order to qualify for employment.
