Our services include Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), school bus operations, and private charters. We are known for our safety-first approach, reliability and professionalism. Job Summary We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Transportation Coordinator to oversee daily transportation operations. This position is responsible for scheduling drivers, coordinating routes, managing communication between staff and clients, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and problem-solver with experience in transportation or logistics. General Accountabilities Coordinate daily driver schedules and bus routes to ensure efficient operations Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, healthcare organizations, clients, and management Monitor trip progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate delays or changes Assist with dispatching and route planning using scheduling software or manual systems Ensure compliance with DOT, state, and local transportation regulations Maintain accurate records of trips, incidents, and vehicle usage Assist with driver recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives Communicate effectively with clients regarding scheduling, special requests, and service updates Support emergency response and incident management as needed Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or related field preferred) Previous experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or dispatch strongly preferred Skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions Knowledge of DOT and state transportation regulations Valid driver’s license; CDL with Passenger endorsement a plus Benefits Consistent, year-round work CDL upgrade support Supportive team environment PTO and Paid Sick Leave Health Insurance Plans available Retirement Savings available
