Transportation coordinator at treatment facility

Position Summary: We are seeking a responsible and organized Transportation Coordinator to ensure clients are safely and punctually transported to their scheduled appointments using company vehicles. This role is critical in supporting the daily operations of our facility and the well-being of our clients. Under the supervision of the Uinta Academy nursing team, the Transportation Coordinator works approximately 15 hours per week on pre-scheduled and same-day appointments. Work hours are generally between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with occasional Saturdays. Key Responsibilities: · Safely transport clients to and from appointments, meetings, or other scheduled activities. · Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules. · Ensure clients are accounted for and on time for all commitments. · Communicate effectively with nursing and mileu staff to coordinate client schedules. · Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles. · Use Outlook on a mobile device to receive and manage scheduling updates. Required Qualifications: · Must be at least 21 years old. · Must have a clean driving record and a valid state of Utah driver’s license. · Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with clients. · Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. · Familiarity with basic scheduling tools or calendar apps including Outlook. · Be fully trained, at a minimum, as a family teacher. Schedule: · In order to build and maintain relationship with our clients, it will be required for the Transportation Coordinator to work two (2) weekends per month. · If appointments are scarce during the week, you will be asked to pick up extra shifts during the week. · At the minimum, two shifts per pay period will be required to be worked. Physical requirements: · Applicant must be able to lift 40 lbs. and participate in recreational and exercise activities with the clients. The job requires bending, lifting, twisting, kneeling, pushing, and walking up and down stairs.
