Transportation Coordinator

To transport residents to and from medically related appointments and to assist residents with those transfers, as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITY:     Administrator

                                     Director of Nursing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To transfer residents to medically related appointments as needed.
2. To assist residents as needed with transfers in and out of the vehicle and at the appointment.
3. Attend facility meetings as required
4. Attend facility in-services.
5. Understand and follow fire, safety, sanitation, blood-borne pathogen rules and Hazard Communication program.
6. Prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation in the elderly.
7. Promote a safe, clean environment in which the residents may live.
8. Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Administrator.
9. Become a participating facility team member with the residents as first priority.

Must have a current valid drivers license
