Transportation Coordinator

CareCore at Lima is seeking a dependable, organized, and resident-focused Transportation Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations while helping ensure transportation needs are coordinated efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with residents and being part of a team-oriented healthcare environment. Schedule Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Weekend Availability: Some weekends may be required based on resident appointments and facility needs. Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations Coordinate and maintain resident transportation schedules Communicate appointment and transportation information with residents, families, nursing staff, and facility leadership Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the company vehicle Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, safe, and ready for use Maintain appropriate transportation documentation and records Provide excellent customer service and compassionate support to residents Assist with additional duties within the facility during downtime when no transports are scheduled, as assigned by the Administrator Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and resident confidentiality requirements Qualifications Must be at least 25 years of age to operate the company vehicle Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Reliable, responsible, and comfortable transporting residents STNA/CNA or DSP experience strongly preferred Previous experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in a healthcare setting is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be flexible to assist with other facility needs when transportation duties are completed Must be available for occasional weekend transportation needs as required Benefits CareCore at Lima offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Life insurance Supplemental insurance options Employee discount program Paid time off If you are dependable, enjoy helping others, and are looking for a position where each day offers something different, we would love to hear from you!
