Transportation Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a customer- oriented person to work with the Ride-On team to coordinate rides for groups and individuals from the general public. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our logistics team! In this vital role, you will take a ride request from the general public and set up an available driver to provide the ride. Some ride requests are group rides for weddings or wine tasting.Your expertise in transportation planning, vehicle dispatching, and supply chain coordination will drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. Duties Respond to calls and e-mails requesting transportation. Develop a quote for the cost for the requested rides. Work with Ride-On dispatchers to assign a driver and vehicle to provide the requested ride. Contact driver with any special instructions Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and phone call management protocols Promote Ride-On Transportation services at public events or on social media to promote awareness of Ride-On's transportation services for the general public. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving transportation issues efficiently Ability to learn scheduling using Ecolane scheduling software. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and scheduling Effective communication skills for phone etiquette, internal collaboration, and customer interactions Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week Benefits: Retirement plan Work Location: In person
